Bosch Dishwasher leaking float chamber

My bosh dishwasher float chamber leaks around the top of the float mechanism when the float releases the water from the top section down into the lower chamber causing the water to backup in the lower chamber and over flow around the float slot, causing water to pour down the inside of the LHS panel. The float mechanism appears to work OK apart from this leak.

I have removed the float mechanism and cleaned as well as hosing down the float chamber and refitted the micro switch.

Machine works fine apart from this annoying leak. Any suggestions welcome. Machine Model is SMS4452GB/14.

Did you remove the brake tank/float chamber to clean it properly and did you also clean the pipework from there that leads into the machine (comes from round the back and goes along the front lower part of the machine)
