Bosch dishwasher not working

I have a bosch shv55m03gb integrated dishwasher that I got second hand with a kitchen. I have just put it in but as soon as you shut the door to start the cycle it trips the RCD. I have plugged it into a socket that is not RCD protected, however the dishwasher just makes a humming noise (guessing the pump) but does not fill with water . Has anyone got idea where I should start looking first?

Unplug it & follow the cable to entry point. Remove the plastic cover & check if the mains suppressor behind it has blown, it happens quite often. Looks like this http://www.espares.co.uk/parts?k=165201
