I tried to reset our 5-year-old Bosch slimline dishwasher and start a new wash cycle but it now displays zero, stuck on Auto wash programme and refuses to start working. The reason I tried to restart the wash cycle it is sounded a bit noisier than usual and I wasn't sure why. I have to add that I opened the door after the reset and before all the water drained - not sure it that contributed to the problem.
Since then I have tried to unplug the dishwasher and leave it unplugged for considerable period of time but every time I switch it on it shows "0" and also I cannot select different wash programmes. I have also tried to do numerous resets but in vain. Anyone has any ideas what's wrong and how I can fix it? If it's an electrical problem, would it be cheaper to buy a new one?
