Tidied the shed today. Found a drill that must have belonged to my brother. It's a Bosch UBH 2/20 SE. It has a yellow sticker on it that says "Safety Clutch". Does this mean it would be o.k. to use it with diamond core bits? It's 110v so I haven't been able to try it yet but if it works it could come in handy.

If you havent got a transformer for it then you might as well buy a new one (drill) in 240v. The TF will set you back half the cost of a new drill anyway. Although you could borrow/hire one for once-in-a-blue-moon usage.

It will do diamond cores probably up to about 60mm.

Bear in mind that your brother may have put it to one side because the safety clutch has broke. :!:
