Bosch Exxcel 1400 Express - Grinding noise

My Bosch Exxcel 1400 Express washing machine has started making a grinding/scrapping noise when the drum is turning. Having read other forum entries I suspect that it is may be the bearing but I would appreciate any other thoughts regarding this.

If it is the bearing, is it reasonably straight forward to replace or should I get someone to look at it?
