Our dishwasher appears to be draining ok - there is no water in the drains inside the machine, but it hasn't been cleaning very well lately and yesterday it started making some strange noises.

My other half has opened it up, checked the pump impellar which is operating freely. However, when he opens up the side to look inside, the pum tubes have water in them (one looks very orange and murky) and there appears to be a reservoir beneath the salt reservoir which is full of water. We can't see how to drain the water out from these places (or why there is water there) and would appreciate some help/knowledge.

I've tried to attach a photo, not sure if it'll work.
