I have a Bosch Logixx which has an intermittent fault. Sometimes it washes the dishes perfectly counting down right back to zero and everything is hunky dory. HOWEVER sometimes it gets to about 30 minutes and everything seems to have been working ok but just keeps making a pulsating wooshing noise, then I get a click and then silence and then it starts wooshing again and this continues right up until the last minute when it should return to zero but it gets stuck on 1 min, and then I have to reset it, it seems to pump out but the dishes inside are wet. I have tried putting a cleaner through it, and it did have a problem a few months ago with the float getting stuck as there was water in the bottom and my husband managed to fix it. I cannot go out and leave it "doing the dishes" as I do not know whether it will work ok or just get stuck. I don't think leaving it pulsating away is doing it any good but any help would be much appreciated. I did read somewhere that there is a test programme you can run which gives numbers relating to faults, is this applicable to my Logixx which must be about 7 or 8 years old. Any help much appreciated apart from going out and buying a new one!!! :x

When it is not working correctly does it heat up.

As the last part of a program it usually heats the water up then drains it away as part of the drying cycle, if the dishes are still wet near the end and cold this would seem to indicate a fault with the heater circuit.

I too have similar ongoing issues with a Bosch Logixx Express (SGS69L12GB) - somewhat newer than yours (about 2.5 years old from memory). 2 months ago, it dropped into anti-flood mode - programmes were 'finishing' prematurely etc.

Bosch attended and replaced the pressure chamber because there was a build up of mildew preventing a pressure switch from activating, thus water kept entering the tank and eventually overflowed filling the bottom of the machine.

The engineer presented a 'tube' of mildew to me which looked just like rubber..

2 months on and again Bosch have attended and had to replace the pressure chamber again with exactly the same problem.

I'm sure this must be a design issue but I'm having the water quality checked also.

I'm not sure this helps you but I'd be interested to know if it's the same issue.

My machine worked perfectly yesterday on Eco!!! It does heat up but what seems to be the problem I think is that not enough water enters the machine for it to do the first rinse and then because of that it gets stuck and even though it pumps out water it still seems not to have enough to do the washing. When it is working perfectly I can hear the washing "blades" turning and everything works well. When it throws a wobbly I can only hear the wooshing noise and click. If I reset it after it has been naughty then the next programme I use goes all over the place starting at for example 150 mins then counting down as it should and then suddenly for no apparent reason shooting up again in minutes to any number it likes. I thought I was seeing things the first time it happened.

Would turning up the water pressure on my mains supply have any effect.

I think it is a different problem to the second reply.
