Bosch SRS4012GB - no water

My dishwasher has stopped filling up with water. Water enters/ is pumped from machine but does not heat up or enter the "washing area". Hoses clear/ solenoid fine/ timer working/ filters clean. The cycle is going but no cleaning taking place. Any ideas?

i'm sorry but i don't recognise the model number. can you tell me roughly how old it is. it sounds like a metering tank to sump blockage but the remedy is different if it's + 7yrs to if it's 2 to 3 years.
