About 6 weeks ago, the motor on my Bosch WFF147S stopped turning the drum; I got some great advice here from DIYnot and changed the brushes, which sorted the problem.
However, yesterday the timer knob (the machine is about 10 yrs old, and timer is mechanical type) just stopped engaging as it normally does, with a clicking ratchet sound. Now is just spinning freely and won't engage to start the cycle.
Is there any way to strip or repair the timer unit, or does it need a new timer switch? How much do they cost?
Thanks
Sam
