About a year ago I had a spring brake that holds the drum in place. Now in spin cycle the drum is not running exactly true, it is slightly off centre. The result of this is that the drum and pulley wheel knock against the back of the machine. It can get quite noisy! Bearings are OK, weights are properly fixed, mechanically all seems OK and it has been installed properly. The only thing I think it is now is that the two other springs may have stretched thus allowing extra movement in the drum. But why has it taken a year for this to start happening now! Has anybody ever had a similar problem.
