Bosh Maxx washing machine stopped working

Just extended the water inlet hose as I had to move the washing machine further from the water main pipes, machine seems to be fine but has now stopped working...making a constant noise...no water coming in or out
what can i do????
Is it due to the distance from the main?

You need to be sure water is present, that the valve you turned off to add the extra pipe as been turned back on. Turn it back off and put it in a bucket to catch water, turn on. Check pipe not twisted or kinked.
Check filter not blocked
