Seem to have lost all the power on this washing machine. Checked socket and fuse in plug- no lights come on on front panel and no programme works . Any suggestions welcome

You need a multimeter & the knowledge how to use it to identify the problem. This involves working on a live appliance. If you have no experience of this kind of thing then STOP HERE & call qualified assistance. If you are confident enough to fault-find on a live appliance let us know.

Thank you very much for prompt response. Yes I have a multimeter and am comfortable working on a live appliance. Obviously please do highlight if there are common mistakes to avoid specifically in connection with this fault.
Many thanks

Take the lid off & check if you have voltage on either side of the mains suppressor. Not sure if your machine has a separate main switch or program selector only. If it has a main switch check it. Then check if you have 230v at the pcb.

If you have 230v at the pcb but there is no life in the display/LED's then your pcb is history. You may see local damage/blown tracks etc.
