Hi, a local charity, community centre is having trouble with its bottle fridge which froze all the beer , cracking the bottles creating a stinking expensive swamp ! .. The, tall glass fronted fridge FKG 371 ( Vest frost) thermostat has 3 terminals ( + earths) .... They are power .. compressor & a third which powers a circulation fan ( via a door switch so it goes off when door open) , to drag the cold air from the bottom to the thermostat capillary at the top.. Guess the idea is when the contacts open , the live is cut to both , but also the circulation fan is isolated from the compressor to protect the circulation motor from inductive spikes from the compressor ? ... .... Question: What model thermostat should we get ? ...
