Hi, a local charity, community centre is having trouble with its bottle fridge which froze all the beer , cracking the bottles creating a stinking expensive swamp ! .. The, tall glass fronted fridge FKG 371 ( Vest frost) thermostat has 3 separate terminals ( + earths) .... They are the usual Supply Power .& toCompressor ... & a third which powers a circulation fan ( via a door switch so it goes off when door open) , to drag the cold air from the bottom to the thermostat capillary at the top while the compressor is running. I Guess the idea is when the contacts open , the live is cut to both , but also the circulation fan is isolated from the compressor to protect the circulation motor from inductive spikes from the compressor ? ??? ... .... Question: What model thermostat should we get ? ...
