Box Plant

Hi

I would like to reposition a box plant into a tub for a short period of time and just wondered if it's Ok to do this a the time of year and what fertilizer should I use when replanting. Later I will need to replant into a clay soil, how best should I prepare for this.

Am no expert but I'd suggest watering well a few hours before moving and being careful not to disturb the roots too much and all should be fine. Be sure to keep well watered for a week or so after. I moved a few similar plants bang in the middle of August (against all advice) and they are all doing well in their new positions. I also have heavy clay soil and get-by by sprinkling in a bit of bonemeal before planting.
