Hi,

We have radiator pipe work running along the skirting board and up the wall however the mr's doesn't like it. Can anyone suggest any ideas on how to disguise or hide the pipes ?
Thanks
Tim

maybe not blue though.

its only noticable because of its colour.

suppose you cover it in something,

Q) what will you do then?

A) paint it the same colour as the wall

why not paint it in the first place

Tim - something like this perhaps:

www.pipecasings.co.uk/home.htm

also similar available from other manufactures. Usually available in decent timber, plumbing or builders merchants; I don't know if the sheds do them.

Or make the boxing-in yourself with mdf and then slap some of breezer's blue paint on it.

I'd say use some trunking (or a DIY wooden boxing) to hide the pipes that come down the wall, then just paint the ones that go accross the skirting board ;)

or you could go the cheapest option, take all pipes out and bury them in the wall. ;)

Employ plumber to remove pipes (or buy all equipment etc req'd and have a go himself) chase walls out, employ plumber to refit pipes, replaster over chase's, paint wall, clean up brick dust from entire room, sounds like a bargain.
