Braced and ledged doors - do they settle?

I'm having to "up my game", this is garage number 4 and the wife is threatening divorce. But I need somewhere to keep the tools I've bought to build the garages.
Lucky you.
I've been looking to buy a garage for the past 4 years.
Unfortunately, here in London, people live in garages so there's none for sale.

Here's a pic of my LBF M&T gate that sagged.

I put tension on it with the ratchet straps. It didn't shift during the hot dry summer, but once the weather changed, it lifted. I have now got it slightly above true, so that when I refit the braces and remove the straps, it will relax down until the braces are in compression enough to prevent it sagging,

The ring bolts will stay in case I need to do it again, I have it in mind to add a steel rod in tension to keep it square.
