I need to adjust the height of my oven and there are no pre drilled holes in the cabinet

Do I screw the oven shelf on some L brackets at desired height or is there an alternative way?

Assuming you mean a slot in oven? Then usually sit on timber strut either side of unit not on a shelf to allow air circulation.

Yes, so I have decided to cut my filler panel into two, having half above and half below. So effectively filler panel in into two, measure up from bottom of cabinet (height of cut filler panel) and install Top of timber 'shelf' at this point?

What timber?

I've got some 4x2 lengths spare?

Is that what you mean about oven resting on timber? So I simply screw through the cabinets to secure the wood?

Hoping they'll be strong enough to hold the oven?
