Brake Drum Removal - Suzuki Ignis

How do I remove the Brake drums, I have released the Brake Lever and loosen the cable but the drums dont want to budge.
Should I be doing something else, there is a large nut in the centre of the drum but that seems to be something to do with the bearing so I don't want to touch it.

you need to remove the nut to get the drums off,it will be tight!

You sure will need to remove the hub nut, and yes it will be very tight. Once it is off it is always best practice to replace the nut with a new one from your local suzuki dealer and you will have hammer the edge in to locating groove once tight to secure it. Also be careful when removing the drum as the shoes may be very tight inside and yanking it off could just pull the shoes apart or stop the handbrake from holding etc...
