Hi all
Today my wife poured brake fluid in the water cooling system tank / radiator. Should i be worried about this? Will i need to drain the whole system and flush it several times? I have a Ford KA... if it is straightforward to do i'll have a go at it. Perhaps there are some diagrams somewhere online...better still a step by step guide on a website about draining radiators on ford kAs, lol
Any help appreciated.

I would drain the system definately, and flush it as brake fluid is quite brutal. There should be a drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. Be gentle with it tho', rads are delicate objects! No overtightening. Don't forget the antifreeze.

I would be surprised if there is a drain plug on the radiator, you will have to take off the bottom hose, then give the cooling system a good flush out, you could try some radiator cleaner as well. Don't forget to add 50% antifreeze.

You may be right johnwr, Fiestas have one though - screw at the bottom left corner of rad. I thought they might use the same rad.
