Brakes seize

I am currently selling a Daewoo Matiz and it has been left standing for about a month without being driven. When I tried to move it earlier the rear driver side tyre wouldn't move. Knowing nothing about cars i thought I would ask on here to see if anyone had any solutions?

Very gently drive the car backwards and forwards in a sort of rocking motion, this usually free's up seized brakes.

As above but also try tapping the wheel studs with a hammer if the rocking doesn't work.
