    True...

    They blame anyone but themselves!

And I see the nasty EU have forced Tata to move production of the Land Rover discovery out of the UK.
Vague promises of future investment of course, but we've heard that all before.

    Suck it up Brummies!

    Poor old Ellal.....

It mustve slipped your mind, the article also noted further significant investment in UK plants.

Im sure you wouldnt want to be choosing 'selective quotes' that might been seen by some on here as hyprocritical.

PS: Toyota £240m to be invested in UK plant.....

It's not an open ended committment. Toyota have invested £2.5bn in the UK.

With around 85% of our UK vehicle production exported to European markets, continued free and frictionless trade between the UK and Europe will be vital for future success."

So we have a hard Brexit they will be off as it will destroy JIT manufacturing.

Also FDI has plummeted in the UK since Brexit with France and Germany catching up fast.

End Brexit shambles. The joke is up, we've had our laughs now it's time to act like adults.

An hour of additional daylight in the evenings would be a good start.

    Poor old notch...

It must be beyond your reading age to comprehend that I was pointing out that recent 'promises' regarding Land Rover have been reneged on!

The main substance is in another topic

Yes, poor old Ellal, he didnt manage to understand that I quoted parts of the article to form a balance that JohnD had selectively avoided....something Ellal accuses me of doing but avoids so doing in JohnD's case, where it suits his agenda.

Anyway apparently the new Discovery isnt a very popular model, so Slovakia are welcome to be producing a bit of a lemon

It is an undoubted fact that Land Rover have reneged on their promise for the Discovery production.
I see 'wild claims' are the order of the day for eeyore.
    https://www.landrover.co.uk/explore-land-rover/news/disco-sport-did-you-know.html

Maybe he is hawkeye in disguise, making wild claims about "the British people, his country, his people", and wild claims about the mood of the Scots about independence, and now wild claims about the popularity of the LR Discovery.

This will be his cue to resort to wild claims about how many posters I am!

Not a wild claim, feed back from a sales manger in a large dealership. Anecdotal admittedly.

    Really?

    Wild claims :)

I think you will find the majority in Scotand don't want another indepenent referendum and are fed up with NS going on about it.

If you think that is a wild claim, by all means post the evidence :ROFLMAO:

Poor old Wannabe, still making wild claims without doing his research....

    In response to your comment:
    referendum result 2014 45% - 55%
    Poll result 45% - 55%.

    And there is more:
    http://www.thenational.scot/news/16...within____touching_distance_____poll_reveals/

And you admit your wild claim about the popularity of the Discovery was based on one person's opinion!
And roundly disputed by official evidence!
    Blathering idiot!

Two pieces of research, one posted at 10.00 this morning that roundly disproves your wild claim!

Maybe it ought to be a prerequisite to put this at the top of each post you make? ;)

Only if you believe blathering idiots. Otherwise I prefer 'wild claims'.
Like a**e end, eeyore makes up stuff, tells lies and invents fake news.
When habitual liars start a post with something like, "a friend of mine", or "I heard from a credible source", or "I used to do so and so for someone", or "in my experience", or "someone with inside knowledge", you just know they are going to tell more lies.

I am surprised he has not yet resorted to accusing us of being the same person, and many others as well.
