Brick damaged pillar

This pillar has become detached 4 courses down as shown. The whole top pillar has come detached. What is the best method to repair? Thank you
 
Exterior construction adhesive is easiest by a country mile, Then rub a bit of sand and cement into the cracks to mask.
 
I'd say that's an old Victorian wall judging the stone on top?
That latch may have been added at a later date with cement hence it's looks in poor condition.
Probably lime mortar?
If so I'd not use cement.
Remove pilar and rebuild is best way.
Point wall with lime mortar if required.
Coat wall in stormdry.
Come back in 100 years and see how it looks.
