hi everyone i have just build my outdoor brick oven and insulated it with ceramic wool and on top of it with a mixture of vermiculite-cement now i need to put a top coat of plaster to protect it from the weather. when the oven works the outside temperature ranges from 35c on top and round of the oven and a maximum of 75c around the door. i have thought of using 5 parts of plastering sand 1 part of lime 1 part of cement and some waterproofer. my question is will it survive the heat of 75c ? can you see any other problem of using this mixture for this job?
can you sagest something better? thanks
