Hi,
I'm doing some brick repair from an old boiler flue, previously not very well repaired. I've done the inside block wall which was easy as no need to make it look nice. However, on the out side wall I need to remove a couple of part bricks so I can replace with full bricks and I've no idea if it is safe to do without support.
Is is safe to remove the two part bricks highlighted without extra support?
I read online it is safe to remove up to 1 m of a course without issue, but given where the hole is I don't want to remove too much.
Thanks for any advice.
