How much roughly should i be looking at paying a bricklayer? Per day or per brick layed?

Cheers all

Good, bad who knows.

I dont know any bricklayers hence asking what the 'rough' going rate is before i start calling some for some quoted.

Just want to have a little heads up thats all.

£120 to £140 for a real bricky. £80 for a line boy. Pricework would depend on what it actually is. :D

But you dont want to be paying £140 a day if he is only laying a few bricks, or starting at 10 and finishing at 3

Ideally you want a price for the job and only pay daywork for people you trust to do a days work, or in exceptional circumstances for awkward jobs
