Is it OK to use facing bricks and thermalight blocks for below DPC or do I need to use something special. I will need 4 (brick) courses.

Thanks
Ben

Any masonry below dpc needs to be rated (resistant to frost etc) and mebbe need a set crushing strength.

So long as the facing brick achieves the necessary rating then it can be used. Same thing with any block.

I think the rating needed is F.L. rating. Check with the supplier. Standard lightweight blocks do not normally comply so we use dense 7n concrete fellas.
