bringing gas supply into a property

hi

looked at a house to buy the other day and noticed there was no gas meter,and subsequently no gas supply in the property.

I was just wondering what the process would be to get the supply from the street and into the property,and a rough idea of what the cost may be.I m assuming someone like transco would have to dig up the pavement and bring the supply in?

You would need to contact the national grid they will inform you of the charges.
