Hi there,
Need some advice if poss before I call in a plumber.
Forgive me complete ignorance on this and bear with me.....
The shower I have is made by Bristan and I am not getting hot water. the shower head is connected via a pipe to a horizontal steel bar connected to the wall. On the left is a dial to turn the shower on/off and on the right is the temperature dial. (The bath taps are at the opposite end to the shower). I am getting hot water in all areas of my flat including the bath taps/bathroom taps/kitchen taps. I have turned the other taps on and can here the boiler wurring. However when I turned on the shower I could here no such noise. A friend has suggested it could be the thermostatic cartridge. Does this sound right and if so how much roughly it could be? alternatively if that sounds rubbish can you offer any advice? In addition i live in a faily new flat (less than 2 years old) and so am also wandering if the problem may fall under warranty....
Apologies for length of post!!
thanks
