I'm trying to change the cartridge in my tap but have failed at the first hurdle, I think I'm supposed to simply unscrew the chrome shroud in the picture below but even with rubber gloves to get a firm grip on it it doesn't budge. Am I right in thinking this bit should unscrew. Youtube videos for different but similar taps make it look easy but maybe Bristan have a different system?
