Britain will not seek to extend Brexit transition period, says minister

The eu is a con.
Set up by con men.
Promoted by con men.
Run by con men.
You are a con artist boyo.

If that was a fair summary fine, but afraid if you believe that lot is as simple as that you really have been conned.

Neither has the UK yet.

Poor dumb ryland probably doesn't realise we are still paying the EU, obeying their rules and enjoying the single market until the end of the year. Lol.

Ryler doesnt realise, being anti brexist does not mean being pro EU.

it is a question of compromise: being part of the EU is far better for the UK than any Brexit destination.

Possibly for the people who live in the UK. Some what different for just the UK neglecting the people who live in it - all but a few. Out is a complete unknown in that respect.

Now there's a conundrum - does the UK exist if there's no people in it?
And why isn't it called a United Queendom.

Luckily, this is no surprise to anybody.
Luckily The Brexers have been working on it since 2016.
Unluckily, Brexers have been unable at any point to agree what they want, and our Buffoon has made a poor fist of leading the country into its transition.

"Officials confirmed that the government’s most recent estimates — first published by HM Revenue & Customs in December 2018 — were that there would be an extra 215m customs declaration forms for businesses importing or exporting goods. That would apply regardless of whether Britain and the EU conclude a trade deal this year with the aim of removing all tariffs and quotas.

Only a fraction of the estimated 50,000 extra agents needed to handle the new customs forms have so far been recruited. Jon Thompson, former head of HMRC, in 2018 estimated that the cost of each declaration could be £32.50, but cited a range from £20 up to a possible £55."
