British Gas RD532 bolier- help!

Hi,

My British Gas (Worcester) RD532 boiler keeps erroring - shows "EA" in temp display. I press the reset button and all seeems well (firing up etc), but errors again in couple of minutes. I have a Worcester Digistat as well).

Any ideas?

EA = Flame not detected.

Is that the ideal classic with the glowcoil ignition?

No it's a Worcester Greenstar look alike.

Provided you have paid your gasbill, most likely an electrical problem, the only things you can do without going to the innards is to see or listen if the flame goes off before the sparking starts and verify that the boiler has proper earth. Don’t know if the greenstars are sensitive to dodgy earth, but making sure it is 100% ok is a good idea anyway

I have encountered the same problem B/Gas wont come out till Saturday,
Did you solve it if so i Would be greatful for any ideas,

Is it Gurgling? had 2 WB today with frozen pipes, both on 32mm!

yes get a hairdryer on any external runs it will take time though!
