It doesn't seem to occur to these naive judges that by letting yobs like this off scott free they are encouraging others to break the law in the knowledge that they too will not be punished.

Tycoon? Posh? He may be both of these things, but he's still a yob. To me, the term 'yob' describes your behaviour, not your background or wealth. There have even been nobs who were yobs!

Dunna worry lads,,, This thug won't learn from the experience. Eventually, he'll do something like this again,,, and come up against a judge who won't be as lenient. (might take quite a few times though, so dunna hold yer breath)
