I HAVE GOT NO HOT WATER TO TAP if i put it on dhw only it fires up and central heating comes on i can feel this on the feed to rads . ch ok
its prob be the diverter valve but is there a way to make sure its the 3 way valve could it be the dhw flow switch any ideas please
 
If it was flow switch, the hot water wouldn't come on at all. The diverter valves frequently fail on the older Britony combis, in which case I think the flow goes to CH circuit. When removing the diverter valve, you have to twist it slightly before you can withdraw it (like a bayonet connection).
