Hello please can someone help me. The bottom of our shower tray is broken. This is where the door goes when the shower closes.
There is now a gap and water is coming out when ever anyone uses the shower.
Please can someone tell me how to fix the shower tray please so the door closes properly
Thanks

Laurentay, good evening.

OK generally an easy DIY fix.

Find the glass thickness, and the length of seal you need then look @ the following site, what you need to do then is to find the profile and dimensions you need.

If the site below does not have the profile you are seeking there are a load of other such sites

Hi Ken,

thanks a lot for that. Will that work if it’s the actually base broken ?
like where the gap is on the picture? so I don’t fix the gap instead I put on a new seal?
sorry I’m just a little confused
Thank you

post a picture from a bit further away

Thanks
The shower is disgusting and needs a good clean!
We’ve ripped the floor up as it’s got damp from the leak. it’s the frame that is broken at the bottom. So where the door closes.
thanks

cant see the profile but could you silicone or ct1 an inverted plastic/upvc channel or angle on top to form a new lip but may not be a long term repair aesthetically
