Brown Ginger Beer bottles

many years ago I used to work in a hotel, and we served ginger beer in stubby glass bottles, dark brown glass.

I was trying to remember the brand name. I think it used to be quite well-known, and sold in most pubs too

Anyone remember?

If memory serves me well it was called, Ginger Beer!

Or, Stones GB.

no, a much more stubby bottle than that.

I don't think it was Stones (they were the Ginger Wine people for Whisky Mac)

Without giving too much away (ahem!), can you tell us exactly how many years ago?

Thats the one I remember drinking. I used to go to the rugby club every saturday with my dad, I'd have one of those and a bag of crisps with the salt in a little piece of blue twisted paper in the bag. 40+ years ago!
