Brush on silicone remover

I'm attempting to remove the frame to brick sealant around a door frame. It had split away from the frame but still stuck to the bricks.

Thus far, have tried Zep solution from TS but it didn't have a noticeable effect on softening/ dissolving the sealant.

I presume the sealing is original and its a 2003/04 house build although no idea what the sealing type is.

Anyone know of a good product?

You need to remove what you can first by carefully cutting away then use the solution on the remaining silicone

That's what I was doing but even on the left over bits stuck to the brick, the Zep stuff had little effect.

Try multi solvent but sounds like it's going to have to stay and just dig off what you can then mastic over
