Hi. Am just starting to decorate newly skimmed living room walls
(using two coats of watered down emulsion to start) and wondered what you experienced decorators found easiest to use - brushes, pads or rollers. I'll also have to do an artexed ceiling that resembles a wedding cake. Any general decorating hints and tips will be greatly appreciated as I'm new to all this DIY stuff and everything so far has been a disaster!

Id say...brush if you want a really nice flat finish (if your using matt) but its harder to do...

Or short pile roller

Ive never seen or known of a dekkie using paint pads...they are for the DIY'er mainly

Thank you. Started with a brush, but was very hard to do, so changed to a roller!
