I have a BT wireless Thermostat (think it's a Honeywell really). It's a T4 RF or an rf600 (both numbers are on the box.

had it for three years and worked a treat. Have lost the instructions. Have the thermostat set to switch heating to come on at 16 degress or lower. It's not doing so because, I'm sure, a SET function on the thermostat has been set or not. In essence, what is the purpose of the large set button on the front of the thermostat please?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Aidan

I guess it is a set down temperature, that you can activate to come on at a lower temperature if you are out, for example, press SET again on yor return to bring house to normal temperature.

In my experiance a pain in the a@@e when customers fiddle with it and then can't get the heating working...
