Most of my tools are makita or dewalt ,what I'm wondering is the budget biscuit jointers are they any good ,il only be using it now and again,Is it worth spending the cash on a decent branded one or is there any budget ones that's almost as good ..thanks

if you have a router you could buy a bit, would be perfect if you only used it now and again,

get a bit for about 15 quid

i went done this route a good few years ago,i ended up buying from screwfix a 'ferm' jointer, brillient piece of kit for stupid money about 50 quid iircmadjustable fence etc.powerful enogh and it lasted over 7 years, infact ive still got it buried in the garage as my firm bought me a dewalt 1,to be honest i prefered the ferm.
