Hi all
we have the architect plans and are now looking at quotations for a extension from builders.
Besides the obvious of previous work they have carried out. What other information should I be looking for. And asking.
Are they
Sole trader self employed ltd company
Insured
Any kind of guarantee if anything should happen in the future.
What Do the mortgage company require if they are paying stage payments for.the extension.
I have seen a local builder who has done a very impressive extension and he seems legit and he has contractors working all over the project
What financial arrangements need to be addressed
Deposit stage payments ect.
Can I take out any kind of insurance to protect my interest
