building a wardrobe!advice greatly appreciated!

I am planning on designing and building a wardrobe to go in my bedroom.
Behind the door is a sloped ceiling where the roof is (as its like a doormer window)
Was thinking about having a (small)double wardrobe to ceiling then a cupboard with one side sloped with the ceiling then a cupboard where the ceiling goes level again! with a unit at the end for tv!
This would mean i have tall cupboard for long clothes and then a rail in the lower cupboard for short items! and maybe some shelving!

I know i need to create a wood frame on the walls. will this be a problem with plasterboard? had problems with plasterboard ceiling downstairs when fitting a blind in bay window!

Also i was thinking melamine sheet for the doors. however i also have some very large sheets of mirror i have been waiting to get cut! do you think it would be possible to have these cut and then fix them to a mdf sheet with glue and then attach a overlapping edging to hold them in at the front of the doors? like a trim?

I would make boxes to the shape you need them and then fix a face frame to that to hide any gaps between the boxes and ceiling . This would also give you good fixings for hanging rails and adjustable shelves .

i agree a frame at the front would be easiest
a full length batton at the top secured to the ceiling through into the woodwork for the frame to fix to
with the frame secured onto the batton floor and any walls it touches

melamine is extremely difficult to cut cleanly without specialist tools/blades

what size doors are you thinking about[hight and width]!!!!!
