Building my own shower tray

I am looking at building my own shower tray, the floor currently is timber, I want to know the best way to construct the shower tray what materials to use, and the best methods to apply All input would be gratefully received

i personally wouldn't bother building my own on a wooden floor, i would use an armourcast pre-fabricated tray.

when building your own dealing with the waste can be at best, a little tricky, let alone tiling it out.

thanks for that unfortunately I need to build my own due to amongst other things size constraints, but thanks for taking your time to reply
