Am considering to buy a ground floor flat, conversion. Should I do a flat survey or building survey.

Flat is on the ground floor of a conversion. Needs total refurbishing. 30 year old flat. When do I consider a flat versus a building survey?

Jeepers Woodbine, either you have wet the bed or you have one of those niggling jobs that has got your loins stirred early doors.

How rude you are sir.

I was up early, but thought f#@! it I'll miss the traffic and go out later.

I love living on the edge

Meanwhile, shouldn't you be getting a mix in instead of browsing the net?

(This might go down well)

Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks in anticipation.

Me personally couldn't give a toss, my only advice is if you like the property and the mortgage company are happy to fund it after they've had their surveyor have a gander then go for it.

Sorry my knowledge on this is limited as being a builder I don't bother with surveyors, worst case scenario for me would be to knock it down and rebuild it.
