Hi All,

I wonder if someone can help me please, what would be the average cost per square foot to build a 2 storey extension. The extension is a straight forward two storey on side of house, breaking through in one place downstairs and one place upstairs, so minor changes to the exiting structure.

Also due to where the extension is going it will mean i will need to move my elec and gas boxes, does anybody have any idea this would cost.

Cheers

Darren

Allow say £1500 min to move gas and leccy. Allow £1000 p/m for ground floor and £800 p/m for first floor, building work with heating and electrics only.

These are a rough guide and do not include furnishings, i.e. fitted wardrobes, fitted kitchens and fixtures such as tiles or carpets etc.
