you can have more than one pipe open when system bunged.

aye whats the deal with that, i bunged a system today to install a bigger rad, while my tradesman was out having a smoke, i opened both valves,

he went nuts and said only do one at a time i coundnt understand why as there was nothing coming out of either pipe.

Does doing one at a time have a better chance of keeping the vaccum?

explain please

I've been spectaculary UNsuccessful with them. Wasted loads of time.
Success rate about 20% on splined tank outlets, which seems to be all I see, having tried different makes, winding ptfe round and all that.
Tried pull-up pipe stoppers, same resilt.
Have made a gizmo which stands a chance, but the first one I cam across afterwards was a 3/4 outlet and it was too small - watch this space!

Wouldn't recommend unless a flood won't do any damage, like under a floor, or where the gaff's a minger.
Anywhere clean, use an electric freezer.
