Hi, I'm in the process of buying a bungalow which we want to convert the loft in, giving us a family bathroom in the loft and an ensuite shower room and also putting in a shower room downstairs. There will be no room for any tanks etc in the loft but I really want to have a powerful shower upstairs. The water pressure coming into the house seemed good when I turned the tap on but I have no idea how to find out what bar it is.
What would you suggest.

If you wanted a combi and electric shower for other room, your pressure will probably be adequate. However if you prefer an unvented cylinder it'll need to be checked. I won't recommend one to customers unless there's at least over 2 bar, preferably 3 bar dynamic available.
