busbar for volex board help please any other electricians

Hi I have a Volex fuseboard that I am working on and I have to alter the arrangement of the circuit breakers but someone previously has cut the bar too short so I need a new busbar to cut to length. Cant seem to get the volex busbar anywhere easily but can get the MK one easily.

Does anybody know if the Mk will fit ok or not please?

Do you have any measurements of the volex busbar? If so here are the measurements of an MK busbar to compare...

Distance between prong centres : 17mm
Length of prongs: 16mm
Thickness: 2mm

Sorry I don't know if they are an exact match, I'm sure someone else will though.

cheers davy_owen_88, sorry I took so long to get back but I had to wait until I was at that job again. I took the bar out and it seems to be more or less the same as the dimensions you give so hopefully it will fit, so thanks very much for your info, maybe this will help someone else in the future that has the same problem when they come on here.

I've just read your messages with interest as I've just stumbled across the same problem. Did the mk busbar fit the volex board without problem?
