I am getting to the point where I need to look at buying new Rads for a referb project I am doing on an old cottage up in Scotland.

Now I have used online Calc, to work out BTU's. and will add a % to cover, how dam cold it gets up here, lol.

Now I am looking for standard white, nothing special rads, but equally I dont want to buy cheap nasty ones that could fail.

Anyone know some good online suppliers that deliver, about 10 needed in total and a couple of towel heaters also.

I see Screwfix have some on offer, are they any good?

Best rad I feel are the rads in wickes that have a very nice look and are quality.
They are made for wickes by Quinn radiators, if you buy Quinn branded ones they come with the side and top grille but with the wickes ones they come separate.

All in all a top quality radiator.

I also like Stelrad radiators from plumb centre but prefer the Quinn out of the 2

didnt realisle that about wickes rads.
my mate says the own brand rads in plumbcentre are from myson, i mean the ones where you have a 30k btu limit on a pack
they look and feel better than the kudox ones at screwfix
depends on your budget
i would not use the rads from ultimate heating, they are cheap and it shows

Thanks all, budget is whatever is needed to get something that works well, but don't want to designer type stuff, putting extra money towards a good quality oil combi boiler

+1

I like the Wickes rads. They're very good quality and competitively priced against others, inc Screwfix. Available for delivery via their website. Never had any problems.

Personally, I prefer their rads without grilles. Maybe I'm out of date, but the rads with grilles seem more suited to an office - looks wise.
