Having some work done in the main bedroom so I've been sleeping in the spare room where the airing cupboard is situated. I've noticed a buzzing sound (which is very low).
Even at 3 in the morning when everything is off I can hear it. It's the pump, I think, although it's not actually on as there's no call for heat from the boiler and the pump light is off. I've checked over the weekend and this buzzing is permanently there.
Everything is working as it should, so why would the pump do this? It's a Worcester Bosch boiler with hw cylinder and expansion tank etc.
